German Grand Prix

This circuit is almost always the F1 calendar. F1 ridden only in the years 1971 to 1976 and then recently in 2007 and 2009. The first race went here in 1970 and was considerably longer than it is now.

Its original length was incredible 12,200 km in 2000, but came to redesign the circuit architect Herman Tilke circuit and today’s appearance is 4574 meters.

This circuit, however, began going after the accident Niki Lauda, ​​who almost burned during the race at the German Nurburgring in 1976.
